How early should I place my order?
Please place your order 3-5 days in advance of due date (up to 5 dozen or 60 pcs combined). For larger orders, I recommend 1-2 weeks advance notice but will be happy to work around your schedule. Alfie & Belle is a home-based, artisan bakery where all products are baked and hand-decorated to order. Please contact me HERE with any additional questions or comments.
Can I stop by and pick up some pastries?
Unfortunately, no. I am a home-based baker, and all my orders are placed in advance. Occasionally, I run promos on social media and offer some new or seasonal products. Please join our newsletter and follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor.
How do I place my order?
Add items to the cart, choose a pick-up date and time, and proceed to checkout.
What payment methods are accepted?
Any major credit and debit cards, as well as Venmo, Paypal, Google Pay, MetaPay, and ShopPay. Payment upfront is required to secure your pick-up date.
Do you offer dietary products?
I DO NOT offer any dietary products, such as nut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, low-sugar, etc. Alfie & Belle is a home-based bakery mainly focusing on traditional European desserts, and even though some of the recipes may not contain any allergens, some of those ingredients are still used in my kitchen.
Can children eat liquor-infused cupcakes?
Liquor/alcohol infused edibles SHOULD NOT be offered to children. I have a legal right to refuse service to anyone who cannot produce adequate evidence of their age while attempting to order from “Liquor Infused” menu.
Can I order custom designs?
Yes! Please email me reference images.
Where can I pick-up my order?
Alfie & Belle is a private home-based bakery located in Mill Valley, CA. Your order(s) can be picked up from Strawberry Village Shopping Center.
Do you ship your products?
We do not ship our products as they’re very fragile and there is no guarantee that they will arrive undamaged.
How do I transport my order(s)?
Our products come in pastry boxes and paper or plastic bags, and it is better to place them flat on the floor or the trunk/hatch of your car to ensure safe transportation. Insulated bags and A/C are advised for long-distance trips.
What if my order gets damaged after I pick it up?
Once you have inspected and picked up your items, your order is complete, and Alfie & Belle is no longer liable for damage that occurs on the way to your desire destination.
How do I store the pastries?
Most baked goods keep well at room temperature, away from direct sunlight prior to be served on the same day. If longer time is needed, refrigerate them for up to 4 days and remove 1-2 hours before serving.
What is your refund policy?
Because Alfie & Belle is a home-based, artisan bakery where all products are baked and hand-decorated to order, there is a considerable amount of preparation and work that goes into your order in advance of the requested date. Cancellations of orders for up to 5 dozen (or 60 pieces combined) are accepted until 3 days prior to the date of pick-up. Cancellations for orders larger than 5 dozen (or 60 pcs combined) are accepted until 5 days prior to the pick-up date. No refunds will be issued after these time frames.
